Esophageal pH monitoring is a specialized test used to measure acid exposure in the esophagus over a period of time. At Emirates European Hospital, this test is used to support the diagnosis of gastroesophageal reflux disease and to evaluate persistent reflux symptoms such as heartburn, chest discomfort, chronic cough, throat irritation, or symptoms that do not respond clearly to standard treatment.
